For thousands of years, Czerka Corporation has brought the benefits of civilization -- development, trade, and productivity -- to
underexploited underdeveloped worlds of the galaxy. Even when faced with the occasional recalcitrant elements of local populations, our dedicated operatives proceed undeterred, eliminating any resistance threat to the expansion of prosperity as they lead armed squads and battalions of workers to tame wildernesses that would otherwise go to waste.
Because Czerka doesn't waste time with bloated hierarchies or rank structures, we are able to compensate our operatives handsomely, according to their productivity, and it is not unusual for them to make hundreds of millions of credits in a month. Many of our operatives also find significant profits trading in goods seized from the lawless brigands who irrationally oppose perfectly reasonable development. While Czerka Corporation would certainly never condone stealing from local populations, we encourage this practice as a deterrent to would-be insurgents. Locals who cooperate with Czerka's sensible management of their worlds have nothing to fear.
Support and Entrepreneurship
As Czerka's unfettered expansion brings development and prosperity to local populations, jobs and productivity quickly follow. Of course, if the local populations knew how to make the most of their planetary resources themselves, they would have done so long before our arrival. To correct this absence of local leadership, Czerka pays agents who find they have a calling to manage the locals who work in our mines and factories. To encourage entrepreneurship, we also make resources and infrastructure available to our agents who have the vision to make the most of what these uninspired locals would leave idle.
Our Place in the Galaxy
While Czerka Corporation has aligned itself with various republics, empires, and religious cults in the distant past, the modern Czerka recognizes that these have always been ephemeral, as any ideologically driven movement must be. Scarcity and consumption are the only true constants; thus trade and commerce are the only goals that may be consistently pursued regardless of the waxing and waning of political rivalries or various religious sects. Czerka Corporation takes no position on these matters as credits spend the same, no matter the source.
