Firaxa Excavations was founded on the hot, near inhospitable planet Sasan in the New Plympto system; however no one knows for sure why this planet, with it's raging lava rivers, was chosen.  Was it because of some unknown minerals that were discovered just underground, waiting to be extracted? Or perhaps it has something to do with ji rikknit, a narcotic with harmful side effects that happens to be produced on a nearby Karsten Moon?

If it was a brave investment in creation of a new company aiming at raw materials market or only a cover for another "unofficial" spice den distributing drugs, some portfolios of FE members are suggesting that mining business isn't anything new for them. Facility and space station construction, administering mining processes, designing specialised droids, they know it all.

With that knowledge and an abundance of available resources, they've decided it's time to put their services to use for the galaxy's sentient beings.
