The Guardian Defence Command is the division of The Ashla Covenant tasked with properly organizing, training and equipping the paramilitary and civilian Guardians of The Covenant. When circumstances arise where a beacon of light is required in a galaxy of darkness, the Guardian Defence Command is available for prompt mobilization. A family united in a common cause, able to adapt, improvise, and overcome any obstacles in all situations.

The mission of the Guardian Defence Command is to organize and maintain the security forces of The Covenant at a level to answer the call.... Whether it is to support missions of other Covenant divisions or as the spearhead in paramilitary operations, the Guardian Defence Command's duty is to be prepared to answer the call throughout the galaxy while adhering to the ethics set forth by the Ashlian Codex.
About Us:
Guardian Defence Command staff are first and foremost Covenant Guardians of The Ashla Covenant, sharing the same moral and ethical life-path lessons found within the Ashlanian Codex and adhered to by all Covenant Guardians.
The Guardian Defence Command, consisting of the Guardian Defence Fleet and Guardian Security Force, is based on the planet Zolan I in the Zolan system of the Lambda sector. As a protectorate of the Falleen Federation, the Guardian Defence Command has a mandate to protect the citizens of Zolan I and provide security to the Zolan and surrounding systems in conjunction with Falleen Federation forces.
The Guardian Defence Command also provides military support to Covenant interest outside of the Lambda sector. It is commonplace for Guardian Defence Command fleets to be present at The Ashla Covenant's network of consulates positioned throughout the galaxy providing a defensivee barrier against aggression and willing to provide military aid to allies near and far.
History:
From the time of the re-emergence of The Ashla Covenant, it was recognized that a base of operations was needed to support the rapid growth of followers the philosophy was attracting. After continuous attempts to find a home, an agreement was garnered between the newly reestablished Covenant and the Falleen Federation, the Falleen Federation giving custodianship of the planet Zolan I to The Ashla Covenant.
As the Covenant grew in numbers, so too did the population that came to Zolan I. As with all meccas, there are those who seek to oppress others through aggression and other means. The Guardians of The Covenant were able to adequately provide necessary protections to the local citizenry of Zolan I. However, as The Covenant's assets and influence via consulates spread outside of the Zolan system, the Guardian Conclave recognized the need to establish a division that better organized and maintained the security assets of The Covenant and thus created the Guardian Defence Command.
Long before being officially recognized in Year 22 by the Galactic Registry, the Guardian Defence Command has played a pivotal role in maintaining peace and providing safety as defenders of the weak and innocent. Staunch allies to all who seek aid against oppression.
